A School Library is a vital part of school life and a hub where students and faculty converge to browse through the books and learn new things, to research for projects and to pursue their quest for knowledge in any field of their choice. While books are the heart of the library collection, a myriad of visual, audio and electronic resources are also available to enrich each student's individual learning needs. The school follows the open access system for students enabling student’s to browse through the available books for their project work or simply for pleasure reading.
Reference Section: Consisting mainly of Encyclopedias and other reference material on various subjects which can be referred only within the library.
Borrowing Section: This offers a wide selection of fictional as well as knowledge based books which can be issued out by the student.
A Digital Section: This consists of mainly Educational CDs.
A Teacher's and Parent's Resource Centre: The resource centre consists of books on good parenting, self- help, motivation, philosophy and fiction. The CDs and books available at this resource centre can be borrowed by both staff and parents.

The school has separate laboratories for Physics, Chemistry and Biology and each of the labs is fully equipped with the latest scientific apparatus. To open the minds of the students to the marvels of scientific research at a very young age, even our Pre-Primary students are taken for lab visits. In higher classes, the teaching - learning process is enhanced as every student is expected to perform the experiments himself. This is rightly said that: What I learn - I forget..., What I see - I remember... And what I do - I understand.... our aim is to promote thorough understanding of concepts.
• Computer Laboratories-

It is said that the 21st Century belongs to the field of Information Technology and every day brings about a revolution in the field of computer science and technology. Our two Computer Laboratories, houses the latest laptops, with a ratio of one machine per child to enable very child to get hands-on experience which will enhance their learning process. The curriculum is designed to suit the needs of the present generation and is aimed at teaching them the applications of various soft-wares like Paintbrush, MS Word, Excel, Power point, Frontpage, C++, Java and also teach them to use the Internet which is the need of the hour.
• Home Science Laboratory-
Flavours of Life
Home Science is an umbrella term for a field of Applied Sciences, made up of Food and Nutrition, Resource Management, Human Development, Textiles and Clothing, Communication and Extension. A study of Home Science helps in the understanding of self, people and the various social, emotional and biological factors necessary for survival. Our School truly believes that Home Science Education provides an opportunity for our students to acquire knowledge and skills that will empower them to become effective citizens of the 21st century. We have a separate laboratory which is fully equipped with the latest cooking resources used for our Home Science and Culinary Skills activity under the SUPW programme. It is a well ventilated, clean, hygienic and safe place where our students gets hands-on experiences of an innovative curriculum.
The objectives of our Home Science programme are as listed below:

• To enhance communication skills and better human relationships.
• To enhance entrepreneurial skills for professional careers.
• To provide valuable real life experiences and train pupils with self -help skills.
• Digital Classrooms-
Digital Classroom provides curriculum based digital content which can be used for teaching and the same teaching session can be captured simultaneously and delivered on web based server or institute server. It can then be broadcast live on to the local or web based server or packaged and kept for reference and use in future. There by providing the reusability of the content that in turn saves the time and energy of the teacher, giving them an opportunity to come up with new ideas and enlightenment on the topic. It facilitates the automatic creation and processing of content. The classroom of the future isn't a classroom. Today's students are to be prepared for a digital world where time and place simply don't matter. Not only the classroom lecture but the entire classroom experience can be captured and can be used anywhere and anytime in future providing the re usability of content. This is the pioneer of this cutting edge technology with an ultimate aim to make teaching even more supple and comprehensive. SmartClass solution empowers teachers to transform traditional blackboard-and-chalk classrooms into interactive sessions. The multimedia content enables teachers to better explain complex concepts, due to which students can retain information for a longer period of time. In our school SmartClass is facilitated by Oxford Advantage through Interactive Senses Board. Both of them are the leaders in the field of technology-enabled education and have carved a niche for themselves in the education space.
• Multi-Purpose Hall-

An acoustically treated Multi-Purpose Hall with a professional stage and adequate light and sound system serves as a platform for the students to exhibit their talents. We believe that every child has talent and it is up to us to identify and nurture it so that every child grows to his full potential. With this in mind all competitions are open to each and every child and it is ensured that every child gets an opportunity to perform in at least one event during the various celebration of the school.
• Audio Visual Room-
Our school’s teaching philosophy goes beyond classroom education and we ensure that we supplement the theoretical instruction with audio visual aids. To assist us in this effort, our school has a fully equipped Audio Visual Room which simplifies learning through multi-media facilities. Students have access to facts in a more interesting manner and can view presentations based on various subjects and other value based information. Through these aids, the teachers are able to disseminate knowledge via movies, wildlife documentaries, animated videos and talks by well-known and respected personalities that provide an insight into our country’s culture and heritage. These audio visual sessions are highly interactive as the teacher has the capability to pause the recording allowing students to ask questions and take maximum advantage of the learning being imparted.
• Medical and Counselling-

A fully equipped Medical Room with 3 beds is managed by a trained nurse who is available to take care of the medical needs of the students and staff while at school. The school has 3 Counsellors, for each section viz. Pre-Primary, Primary and Secondary, on its rolls who looks into the needs of students with learning difficulty, emotional and behavioural problems and help them to perform better on personal, social, emotional as well as academic fronts.
• Performing Arts-

A dance room with a wooden flooring and mirrored wall is available to the students with an option of learning various forms of dance. Our dance teacher is not only an expert in various forms of dances ranging from classical dance like Bharatnatyam to Western forms like Jazz and Salsa but also a choreographer par excellence and the ideal teacher to bring out the creative best in her young students.

Music is the language of the soul and through appreciation of music we can discover the self within oneself. To facilitate this we have separate music rooms for vocal and instrumental teaching at the school. Our music department is graced by creative and talented teachers who can inspire their students and ensure that every child inculcates a love for music and retains the same for a lifetime. The instrumental section includes the keyboard and tabla.

For multi-faceted development of a child there needs to be organic connection between mind and body.
Quality physical education in school is an important part of student's comprehensive, all round education programme and a means of positively affecting life-long health and well-being. The best way to ensure physical health and development is to teach pupils outdoor games and exercises.
We, at Pawar Public School firmly believe that stores would inculcate valuable qualities in young people, hence we teach our students to excel in the games and activities that follow:

Block Play Corner
Our Block Play corner is the place where children learn through hands on experience and share a sense of joy in their accomplishments. While solving structural challenges, they learn to concentrate while gaining mastery in the art of persistence, patience, and overcoming frustration. Using blocks, children can piece together shapes to create a bigger picture, whether it is a representation of something they have seen or from their imagination. Exploring with blocks also nurtures an understanding for math, science, language and dramatic play. Whether the blocks are wooden, foam, plastic, coloured, big or small our blocks will enhance your child's learning activities.
Role Play Corner
Got a child who loves to play “dress up”? A doctor or chef?" That's dramatic or role play. Through this type of play, not only does the child's imagination get a workout, but they learn how to take turns, cooperate, share and work on language development. Through role play, kids are also able to learn about functioning in the greater community. Our Role Play corner is meant for active, social activity where children can get into character and use role play to reflect on and develop their knowledge of a topic.
Reading Corner
The love for reading has so many benefits! Introducing children to literature in pre-school supports reading readiness, promotes early literacy, develops love for language and reading, promotes critical thinking skills and enhances creative and social development. Our reading corner consists of a variety of board books, picture books, early readers and provides comfortable seating which will help develop excellent reading habits in children.
Creativity Corner
For pre-schoolers, art is a process rather than a product. Providing interesting, varied, and safe mediums for an art experience creates a positive environment for children to freely express themselves. The creative space we provide is a place that the children can call their own! The children are able to access art materials at all times and are allowed to explore, combine and create in any way that they choose as they find out more about their interests and abilities. It gives children opportunities for independent art exploration.
